About Carnivores.cz
The large carnivore conservation project in the Czech Republic is realized by NGO Friends of the Earth Czech Republic - Hnutí DUHA Olomouc. The main website Šelmy.cz (in Czech) provides objective information and recent news about wolves, lynx and bears and issues of their threats and conservation. It is aimed to the general public (and with a special website also to children), however, experts can find useful information there as well. The English version Carnivores.cz will aim to present general overview of the situation of large carnivores in the Czech Republic and specific issues with international overlap. Currently the website is under construction - thus be patient some parts of the site are not active.
